#116 (of 365) "Ritchie Sacramento" Mogwai

Continuing the post-rock theme of recent tracks (3 of the last 6 now), this is the most recent post-rock song to make this entire list. This comes off Mogwai's 2021 record As the Love Continues and proves that the great bands can still make great songs even 25 years after their best work. In fact, if the cutoff for making this list wasn't the end of 2024, I'm pretty sure my #2 favorite song of 2025 ("Hi Chaos") would have also made the list. Alas, this is the most recent for the Scottish legends. And it's brilliant.
