#126 (of 365) "Let Down" Radiohead

OK Computer was universally lauded in alternative music / critical review circles as one of--if not the--best album of the 90s and among the best records ever made. I ... kind of liked it? Yeah, it's weird. Like everyone, I liked "Creep" and "Fake Plastic Trees" and was not quite prepared for the change in sound/trajectory of their third album. And I tried. I really, really tried. I should have loved it, based on the love it got from anyone who listened to the music that I listened to. Not to say I didn't like it. I did. Not really a bad song on the album. And the follow ups had some great music too. But alas, only two tracks from the album made it to this countdown, and these are the only two songs from Radiohead that had a lasting impact on me. Of course, two songs from a single album among my top 126 songs ever is pretty impressive for any album, so OK Computer is really in rarefied company. Maybe I did love the album after all.
