#142 (of 365) "Octavio Paz" Be Still, Cody

The second song on this list from Bumfuck Nowhere, the 4-song debut EP from the Virginia band, who followed up this 2013 masterpiece with a solid debut album and then stopped making music as a band. I don't really know what happened to its members. I don't know how they could put out four songs on a debut and have half of them reach my all-time best songs and yet I know nothing about them. It's emo revivalism, with a sound very similar to the Whenever, If Ever masterpiece that came out the same year, and I don't know it hit me so hard and so well, but it did. I freaking love this song.
