#161 (of 365) "Mr. November" The National

The highest charting song of a band I once held in super high esteem (they were top 3 all time maybe 10 years ago) but have lost considerable interest in. This is the first song I ever heard from them, and the screaming sensation has been completely removed from their music in the past decade, as they drifted into mellow "dad" music. But the energy and the joy in this song, which I've seen them play live a bunch of times, persists. Brooklyn's own The National.
