#213 (of 365) "The First Part" Superchunk

Superchunk has 12 songs on this list, which is the most of any band, and it makes sense of course, as they are my favorite band of all time. And yet, there are some superb classics like "Detroit Has a Skyline" (excellent live) or "The Question is How Fast" or "Throwing Things" a memorable newer track like "What a Time to Be Alive" that missed the list. Anyway, the story of Superchunk is the story of my interest in good music. Started in 1989 with "Slack Motherfucker" and are releasing their 20th?? album later this summer. I know it's not 20 but it is a huge volume of music and they are the only band in history with so many albums and not a one is not great. Well, maybe their very first (self-titled) wasn't superb, but pretty much everything else has been one solid 35 year streak of absolute brilliance.
