#221 (of 365) "Golden Haze" Wild Nothing

"All bangers all the time" is likely a misconstrued phrase from season 1 of Succession, out of the mouth of Kendall, in reference to his playlist for his birthday, but I think about it all the time, anytime I'm making any kind of playlist, including this one of the greatest songs of all time. And now that we are getting into truly rarefied air -- approaching the top 200 -- there really is only room for the greatest songs by the greatest bands ever. "Golden Haze" is not a banger as Kendall Roy would have described it. Definitely not danceable, not enough bass, and more something to listen to on a lazy summer day on the beach than in a club setting for some rich idiot's birthday. But it is a banger in every sense of the word. And the second straight song from 2010.
