#238 (of 365) "Ohm" Yo La Tengo

Yo La Tengo has been making music from their home in Hoboken since the mid 80s, when I was in middle school. I didn't move to Hoboken until 2013, when I was--well--far out of middle school, but they still are around, maybe no longer living in town but recording there and playing often in Manhattan and at the White Eagle Hall in Jersey City. They are legends. I've seen them almost as many times as any other band and already have tickets for this year's edition of the annual 8 Nights of Hanukkah festival, at Bowery Ballroom this time, I think. They have six tracks on this countdown, spanning sixteen years of their lengthy career, from 1997 to 2013. This is their "newest" song on the list and it's over a decade old. But they are still recording new music so I wouldn't put it past them to add to their collection of amazing songs one album at a time.
