But the shortest song not by Joyce Manor is this track off the classic 1994 Guided by Voices album Bee Thousand, which is full of short tracks and absolute brilliance, and is celebrated here as one of 4 GbV songs to make the cut. I saw them live a few years back in Jersey City and I believe the setlist was over 50 songs long. Most of those songs were short and sweet but to see a (then) 60-year-old Bob Pollard and company rip apart their lungs to sing and play these songs was nothing short of amazing.
