#310 (of 365) "Good Evening" High Sunn

According to Bandcamp, High Sunn is a brightcore project fronted by songwriter Justin Cheromiah. Formed in 2015 and based out of San Francisco, High Sunn has been fleshing out dreamo hymns to twinkling ballads. High Sunn wants to create that “sky memori” that will broaden your perception of life, love, and joy.

I'm not entirely sure what any of that means, but I have recently discovered this band's upbeat indie pop songs and fallen in love. This song is another case of not knowing how well it will age, and whether five or ten years from now it will legitimately belong on a list of my favorite tracks of all time, but at this point in 2025, it does, and I guess that's all that matters.
