#343 (of 365) "White" Okkervil River

Okkervil River have 9 songs on this countdown, spread across six (6!) albums. An impressive feat, to hit continuous highs throughout a career catalog of music. Unfortunately, this track, off of their 7th full-length The Silver Gymnasium, back in 2013, is the most recent Okkervil song on the list. Their two subsequent albums did not contain any tracks worthy of inclusion in the greatest songs of all time and Will Sheff hasn't put out any music under the Okkervil name since 2018. His solo work has been disappointing, to me personally, but I hold out hope there's another (great?) Okkervil River release still forthcoming. Would love to see them live again too, as they have always been an amazing band to see in concert, no matter when.
