#357 (of 365) "Acid Reflex" Pity Sex

Pity Sex made a Split EP in 2014 with Adventures, after the double shot masterpieces of the Dark World EP and Feast of Love, their first proper album in 2013. This song was featured along with a cover of a Pixies track, and they'd follow that up in 2016 with White Hot Moon, which didn't have as many outright bangers as their 2013-14 output, but was still strong. Then they disappeared off the face of the earth. I don't really know what happened. I do know they played a show in NYC this summer--their first in forever--and I was sooooo excited to go because I'd never seen them and then an engagement I couldn't get out of trumped my plans and I still haven't seen them. I don't know if they're coming back. I don't know if they'll record again. But man they put out some insanely good music ten years ago. This is one of four songs on this list.
