#361 "Youth" Beach Fossils

I saw Beach Fossils live last week at The Brooklyn Monarch, probably the 3rd or 4th time I've seen them. I still remember the first, though, back in my 50 concerts a year initial days living in Hoboken in 2013/14/15. They played at Rough Trade in Brooklyn and in the middle of the show at the small space (it held maybe one hundred people) the lead singer shouted out his parents who had attended the show and he pointed at them and I turned and they were right next to me. As the band has gotten much bigger (the show last week was maybe five hundred people in a packed venue on Halloween Eve) I've always remembered how proud his parents were to see their son perform his art live.
