The Pains of Being Pure at Heart came out in the late 2000s, as a throwback to New Wave era (80s/early 90s) style British pop and I think they broke up maybe a decade ago, reformed and toured as recently as this year in Britain but did not come to the US. I have never seen them live. They have 2 songs on this list. The first is the "last" on my chart of the greatest songs of all time. Off their debut self-titled 2009 album The Pains of Being Pure at Heart, here is "Gentle Sons."
