#57 (of 365) "Drunk Drivers / Killer Whales" Car Seat Headrest

I'm so behind (over a year) in my "daily favorite songs of all time" posts (which started in 2024) that Car Seat Headrest - this very week in 2026 - re-released updated versions of the songs on their seminal 2016 album Teens of Denial, for the 10th anniversary. The version of this, their most famous song and the one that put them in the pantheon for me, is interesting, maybe even better than the one from the original, but since I only just heard it, this ranking is from the original version, which still packs the same punch ten years later.
