#63 (of 365) "Friend of the Night" Mogwai

This song was my #1 favorite song of 2006, off my favorite album of that year, the last non-Spencer Krug album to take #1 until 2013 (a 6 year stretch of Sunset Rubdown / Wolf Parade / Moonface dominance). All these years later, Mogwai ranks higher on my favorite bands list than any Spencer band (#3 overall) and this is the first of four songs of theirs in the top 63 of all time. Such a beautiful, transcendent track. 

Just magical.
