#65 (of 365) "The Shy Retirer" Arab Strap

One of the few "one hit wonders" on this countdown. Not that Arab Strap didn't have some great songs, and Monday at the Hug & Pint is an incredible album, but this song is the only one of theirs which came anywhere close to making this chart. Of course, there were at one time 15,000+ songs on my iPhone, before everything went to the cloud, so 365 out of 15000 = 2.4% of the total, or a very small amount. In other words, Arab Strap should be proud to make this esteemed list, even just for a single song, and it's quite the great song. My favorite song of 2003.

Another bloated disco, another sniff of romance I'll forget.
