#82 (of 365) "Wind-Up" Pity Sex

Off the 2013 album Feast of Love, this song escaped my orbit when it was released, which is kind of crazy in retrospect, because I was super tuned into indie rock at the time, even more so than now, and I don't know how I missed this brilliant  shoegaze band until many, many years later. They stopped recording music over a decade ago now, and I missed them in a reunion show in Brooklyn last summer because of other commitments. I hoped they might tour some more or release more new music but alas, I'm holding onto one of the great albums of all-time and a song that is at the top of my Apple Music most played songs in history, by 100 over the closest competitor. I just truly love this song.
