#89 (of 365) "Something Soon" Car Seat Headrest

This is the first CSH song I ever heard, and I loved it, but I don't think it made such an impression on me until after the follow-up album and massive indie rock success of "Drunk Drivers". I revisited this album, and all of his back catalog and from 2016 to 2020 or so, I just listened to the band's massive collection of music (at such a young age) over and over and over again. Six years on from then, I don't feel as strongly about the band, but I every single time I hear "Heavy boots on my throat, I need something soon, I need something soon!" I get transported to a younger time, a younger me, and the energy comes roaring back.
